She nods and reaches for the dispenser near the coffeemaker, and maybe it's exhaustion or maybe it's carelessness, but --
"Damn."
She squeezes shut her eyes and takes a breath before kneeling to gather the broken glass, mindful of her bare feet.
"Sorry, I -- "
She shakes her head, bent over the small mountain of sugar.
"I'll go downstairs for more, I'm sorry, it'll just take a second."
